quantilope automates survey methods such as conjoint, MaxDiff and Van Westendorp on one platform. Horizon measures whether consumers show purchase or sign-up intent for your final variants.
Compared
quantilope brings many survey methods together, Horizon adds behavioural evidence. The difference lies in what is measured: a choice or statement in a survey or behaviour in a buying situation.
Information on quantilope is based on the provider's publicly available information. We are happy to include corrections.
Context
Survey methods weight features and segments. A behavioural test measures which finished variant triggers purchase or sign-up intent.
Van Westendorp and conjoint rely on stated willingness to pay. A price test compares prices on behaviour.
Automated surveys reduce cost and time per study. A behavioural test shows whether approval also turns into purchase intent.
Combination
Weight features and build segments.
Select the up to six strongest combinations.
Test the variants on purchase or sign-up behaviour.
With weighting and behavioural evidence.

Does Horizon replace conjoint or Van Westendorp?
No. These methods weight features and narrow down price ranges. Horizon tests the resulting variants on behaviour.
Why is stated willingness to buy not enough?
Statements in surveys can be well above later behaviour, especially for new and higher-priced products. A behavioural test measures behaviour directly.
Is anything sold with Horizon?
No. No contract is concluded and no payment is taken. Anyone who chooses an offer is then told transparently that the offer is not yet available.
How long does a test take?
Around four weeks from question to data analysis, depending on the target group and the number of variants.
Bring your decision question and we will show you which approach fits and how the two work together. Your insights team is welcome to join.
