Customer Data. Customers or individuals granted access to a team account by a Customer (“Authorized Users”) routinely submit Customer Data to Horizon when using the Services.

Horizon uses Other Information in furtherance of our legitimate interests in operating our Services, Websites and business. More specifically, Horizon uses Other Information:
Horizon will retain Customer Data in accordance with a Customer’s instructions, including any applicable terms in the Customer Agreement and Customer’s use of Services functionality, and as required by applicable law. The deletion of Customer Data and other use of the Services by Customer may result in the deletion and/or de-identification of certain associated Other Information.
This section describes how Horizon may share and disclose Information. Customers determine their own policies and practices for the sharing and disclosure of Information, and Horizon does not control how they or any other third parties choose to share or disclose Information.
Horizon may disclose your personal data to any member of our group of companies (affiliates, subsidiaries and ultimate holding company) to perform our Services and to process data referred to in section 2 above using the same legal basis. Horizon does not sell any personal information to third parties under any circumstances.
Horizon uses a number of additional services and tools to perform functions on its behalf. These services have access to limited amounts of personal data based on the requirements of the service. They include customer relationship management (e.g. Salesforce), email providers (e.g. Google), marketing tools (e.g. Marketo), internal communication tools (e.g. Slack), notification systems (e.g. Mandrill) and software development tracking systems (e.g. Atlassian Suite).
These third-party companies are leading providers in their area and store their information in their globally distributed infrastructures. These organizations are certified to transfer this information internationally according to their Binding Corporate Rules and comply with data privacy regulations such as GDPR.
Customer’s Instructions. Horizon will solely share and disclose Customer Data in accordance with a Customer’s instructions, including any applicable terms in the Customer Agreement and Customer’s use of Services functionality, and in compliance with applicable law and legal process.
Displaying the Services. When an Authorized User submits Other Information, it may be displayed to other Authorized Users in the same or connected team accounts. For example, an Authorized User’s email address may be displayed with their team account profile.
Customer Access. Administrators, Authorized Users, and other Customer representatives and personnel may be able to access, modify, or restrict access to Other Information. This may include, for example, your employer using Service features accessing or modifying your profile details. For information about your team account settings.
Third Party Service Providers and Partners. We may engage third party companies or individuals as service providers or business partners to process Other Information and support our business. These third parties may, for example, provide virtual computing and storage services, or we may share business information to develop strategic partnerships with Third Party Service providers to support our common customers.
Third Party Services. Customer may enable or permit Authorized Users to enable Third Party Services. We require each Third Party Service to disclose all permissions for information access in the Services, but we do not guarantee that they do so. When enabled, Horizon may share Other Information with Third Party Services. Third Party Services are not owned or controlled by Horizon and third parties that have been granted access to Other Information may have their own policies and practices for its collection, use, and sharing. Please check the permissions, privacy settings, and notices for these Third Party Services or contact the provider for any questions.
Aggregated or De-identified Data. We may disclose or use aggregated or de-identified Other Information for any purpose. For example, we may share aggregated or de-identified Other Information with prospects or partners for business or research purposes, such as telling a prospective Horizon customer the average demand score of a certain industry.
To Comply with Laws. If we receive a request for information, we may disclose Other Information if we reasonably believe disclosure is in accordance with or required by any applicable law, regulation, or legal process.
To enforce our rights, prevent fraud, and for safety. To protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of Horizon or third parties, including enforcing contracts or policies, or in connection with investigating and preventing fraud or security issues.
With Consent. Horizon may share Other Information with third parties when we have consent to do so.
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google").
Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on the user's computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website by users is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. IP anonymisation has been activated on this website so that the IP address of Google users within Member States of the European Union or in other Contracting States to the Agreement on the European Economic Area is shortened beforehand. We use the service unbounce from unbounce Marketing Solutions Inc,400-401 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, BC, Canada, V6B 5A1 for certain pages of promotions and advertising campaigns (landing pages). These pages are hosted by unbounce. The user's browser communicates directly with unbounce so that the user's IP address is transmitted and cookies can be set. We use the tracking tool Mixpanel, a web analytics service from the provider Mixpanel Inc., 405 Howard St, Floor 2, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA ("Mixpanel“), to understand how our customers use our applications and to keep on improving them. The Mixpanel service is used to analyze the Phrase website by customers at the feature level. Mixpanel is used to gather information on which features of the Phrase website are used by customers and to what extent. Such an analysis offers a means to control planning as part of product development, since it enables the specific demand for features to be taken into account. The results of an analysis are therefore directly incorporated in the further development of the platform.
Mixpanel collects and stores usage data in pseudonymous profiles. The pseudonymous user profiles are not collated with personal data of the person associated with the pseudonym. We use Mixpanel cookies for our products in order to record your browser type, operating system, language settings, the search terms you enter and your IP address. Phrase receives your IP address from Mixpanel in an anonymized form only in order to ensure your privacy is protected.
When transferring data outside of the EU into the USA, the adequate means of protection is ensured by the European Commission’s approved model contract clauses.
